If your New Year’s resolution is to hear more swingin’ big band music, the Bureau of Standards is here to help!

This 17-member ensemble celebrates the heyday of big bands in America, from Ellington at The Cotton Club to Goodman at the Savoy and Basie at The Sands. Featuring big band hits from the 30s to the 60s by Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and more. With sultry and smooth vocals by Kat Cogswell and Warren Black, and hot licks from director and trumpeter James M. Gregg, all backed by the sizzle and soul of 14 of Portland’s finest musicians, this is an old-school Vegas-style show you can’t see anywhere else in town.
