“Remotely Together” Winter 2020 Recital

Thirteen amazing musicians pre-recorded their performances of solos, duets, trios and quartets for today’s (Dec. 6, 2020) recital. I streamed the videos to an enthusiastic audience of 50 or so people. Audience connected from all over the United States as well as Portland, Oregon.

We had guests from New Hampshire, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Idaho, California, New York, and Oregon.

During a pandemic each individual records their parts separately. Video recordings were submitted to me to be mixed together “Brady Bunch” style. I played the final mixes at our online gathering.

Download The Program

Download your own copy of the performance program. We open the program with two Bach chorales performed by eleven students. After the two chorales, I’ve listed the solos, duets, and trios in order by composer’s birth year. The list of composers begins with Jean Phillip Rameau who was born in 1683 and ends withJohn Laporta who was born in 1920.

Over many days, I collected submissions from students, mixed and balanced the audio, then combined the videos. Here are the final performance videos for your enjoyment. I also went to student’s homes and presented them with Performance Certificates. Their parents recorded the presentation and I made compilation videos of those too.
