Day 18 Loretta Lynn

I’m not a real fan of Country music. But I included Loretta Lynn, one of the giants of Country singers, in my list for balance.

This list has, I hope, something for everyone. We got a little educational thing happening (ostinato, triplets, adagio). We got composers from the 1700s, 1900s, and 2000s. We got genres from Country to Big Band, from movie soundtrack to Choral. We got string quartet music and drum cadence.

So, here’s Loretta Lynn singing probably her best-known song, Coal Miner’s Daughter.
