The Portland Wind Symphony is thrilled to announce the opening of their 27th season!

Guest conductor Dr. Daniel Schmidt will lead the ensemble in a rich variety of music, including the Overture to Candide, by Leonard Bernstein; the wild and crazy Country Band March, by Charles Ives; the delightful Waltzes from Der Rosenkavalier, by Richard Strauss.

The 2008 composition by Kathryn Salfelder, Cathedrals, features 2 brass choirs. Rondo Variations by Woolfenden, features clarinet soloist Jason Lazur. This  program offers something for everyone!
