30 Day Music Challenge

repeating the same patternThe word for day 4 is ostinato. A repeated pattern in music, it can be used to build tension (Ravel’s Bolero) or soothe (Pachelbel’s Canon bass line). It can cause fear (Jaws Theme) or provide humor.

This example is a blast from 1977. Donna Summer’s I Feel Love.
