Swing into Day 11 of the 30 Day Music Challenge!

I love Swing music.

Especially love Swing music played by a Big Band.

I play tenor sax in a 19-piece big band in Portland, The Bureau of Standards Big Band. I get a kick out of playing these charts of the Swing and Rat Pack eras.

On a given night, like last night, we’ll play Cheek to Cheek, Makin Whoopee, Let’s Face The Music and Dance, Night and Day, and my tune for today’s challenge: I Love Being Here With You.

This was recorded a few months ago at one of our gigs at Tony Starlight’s Supperclub and Lounge. Last night we played for Tony’s 7th Anniversary celebration.
