Day 19 was yesterday. Dolly Parton. I chose 9 to 5.

Today is day 20. Choral. There is so much beautiful music to choose from.

One of the things I love about choral music is the sound of human voices blending in a great big cluster chord resolving to a rich soothing harmony. And it’s even better when they are just singing ahs and oohs without pronouncing actual words.

Because the human voice is a miracle. We breathe in air. We breathe out music. That’s the miracle of singing.

So here is the Westminster Cathedral Choir performing Pacific Northwest native Morten Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium.
